The town's website states that: “the airport has become one of the busiest in the world, and San Bruno has grown into an international city right along with it.” However, other significant transportation options such as a Cal Train stop and Sam Trans buses make this city easy to access and easy to commute to and from.

In addition to the numerous transportation options, San Bruno is close to a major shopping center, the race track, and many beautiful outdoor spaces. San Bruno is close to the Crystal Springs reservoir which is a wonderful area for hiking and biking, and the town has 15 parks. The Tanforan race track and the nearby mall provide residents with a number of entertainment diversions including racing, shopping, restaurants, and movie theaters.
